How to become a member

Just heard about IFMA and want to learn more? Go to ifma.org to learn more. IFMA brings great value to its members by offering a variety of facility competency courses as well as three international recognized professional credentials:

  • Facility Management Professional (FMP)
  • Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP)
  • Certified Facility Managers (CFM)

All are offered online or in a classroom environment with other facility professionals. Are you finally convinced that IFMA is the organization right for you? You can join online or via mail or fax.

To become a member, the base memberships dues is required:

  • Professional: US $209
  • Associate (Sales/Marketing): US $209
  • Retired: US $100
  • Young Professional: US $195
  • Student: US $10

Note: Membership is individually based and is non-transferable and non-refundable. First year members are required to join the local chapter. You may join more than one chapter.

You can join IFMA International independent of the local chapter.  As an international organization, many individuals may live outside of an area where there is a local chapter.  However; if you do live in a region with an active IFMA Chapter, it is recommended to join IFMA International and the Local Chapter to maximize the value of your membership.  Local chapters typically host luncheon learning events, tours, credential education and networking events; and provides the opportunity to build relationships with facility professional colleagues. In addition to IFMA membership dues, the Denver Chapter dues are US $305.  As a member of the local chapter you benefit from:

  • Award winning Programs and Professional Development (seminar luncheons, facility tours. and locally hosted courses)
  • Social events (Golf tournament, summer social, sporting event, Sponsorship appreciation, and holiday party)
  • Networking with colleagues.
  • Employment referral services.
  • Volunteering for community services projects and fundraisers.
  • An opportunity to volunteer on a committee and/or serve in a leadership position.
