John McDonough currently is Director of Global Client Relations for Max Construction, Inc. Max is a 19-year-old Denver based construction firm focused on high-end commercial interiors. With their attention to detail, client communication, and customer service, Max has become one of the most respected contractors in this market. John also is VP of Business Development for Innate Energy Services, a consulting firm bringing practical and customer friendly energy efficient technology to the built environment. John has been a member of IFMA since 2002. John achieved his FMP in 2009, while he served as Co-Chair of the Education Committee, served as Vice President from 2009 through 2010, and is the Chapter’s official Photographer.

Byron is the Facility Manager Professional (FMP) for Western Area Power Administration, a division of U.S. Department of Energy. He manages facilities operations in a Corporate Service Office in Lakewood and the Electric Power Training Center in the Denver West Office Park. He also serves as a Contract Officer Representative. Byron has been with U.S. Department of Energy and a member of IFMA since early 2005. Since becoming a member of IFMA, Byron has served as the Chair of the Chapter’s Education Committee. Byron believes that his experience in training development can assist in the advancement of the Chapter’s professional development goals.

Brent joined Visa in January 2010 as the Denver location Director of Facilities and Real Estate.  His primary responsibilities are facility operations (maintenance, custodial, landscaping, cafeteria, and mail/copy center services), budget management, project management, and space planning.  Brent has been a Facilities leader for over twenty years with a successful history in customer satisfaction, employee involvement and bottom-line results.  As Director of Facilities and Real Estate in Tucson his organization was recognized in “Reliable Plant Magazine” as the feature article for maintenance excellence.  Brent joined IFMA in Sept, 2001 and achieved his Certified Facilities Manager CFM designation in May, 2005.  He was involved in the chartering of the Southern Arizona Chapter of IFMA and served as Vice President and President until he relocated to Denver in 2007.

Kara is the Manager of Business Development for G4S Secure Solutions, USA.  Ms. Plender joined IFMA in 2006. She is a member of the Denver Chapter and Pikes Peak Chapter. Ms. Plender was the Pikes Peak Chapter’s Secretary from 2007-2009.  After holding the position of Director of Business Development for a Federal Private Prisons Contractor for 12 years, Ms. Plender left the prison industry and moved into the security industry. Ms Plender holds a Master’s degree in Criminology and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to becoming employed in the corrections industry Ms. Plender instructed Criminal Justice and Criminology courses at Colorado State University, held the position of Supervisor of Adult Probation Services in Cincinnati, Ohio, corrections industry lobbyist and worked as a corrections officer.

Judy is a Certified Facility Manager working for CB Richard Ellis for the last four years.  Her current assignment is managing the facility department for the McKesson account in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah. With a staff of 8, Judy has responsibility for 11 sites in Colorado, Nebraska, and Utah (offices, a 24/7 call center and warehouses).  Her primary responsibilities are facility management, staff management, budgets, construction, space planning, process management, project management, and cost savings initiatives. Judy has 18 years of facility management experience, in small businesses and large campus type facilities.  She had been a member of IFMA in the mid 90’s returning as an active member for the last three years and has served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President for the Denver Chapter this last year.

Dean has over 25 years of professional experience in the areas of Facilities Management, Corporate Services, Information Systems, and Telecommunications. He has accumulated a unique blend of skills including organizational effectiveness, financial management, process management, quality improvement, project management, information systems planning, and operations. He has served on the Chapter's Technology Committee, led the Chapter Web Site redesign efforts, and held the offices of Treasurer from 2002 through 2004, and Vice-President through 2005 and President through 2006. He received the chapter's "Distinguished Member" in 2005. Dean also serves as a regional liaison for the IFMA Foundation.

Gloria is a Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) and has over 17 years of facility and operational management experience. She has managed all site operations and facilities for a variety of companies and industries. Her experience and background includes responsibilities for facility and operations management, budgets, construction, space planning and moves, technical support and maintenance, process management, project management, and managing corporate cost savings programs. She joined IFMA in 2005 and joined the IFMA Denver Program Committee. Gloria holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Administration. She earned her CFM Certified Facility Manager designation in January 2007.

Darin Rose brings over 20 years of experience in management and facilities with non-profit and retail banking organizations.  His areas of expertise include maintenance, security, HVAC, janitorial, landscaping, audio/visual, space planning, lease negotiations, service contracts, strategic planning along with developing and overseeing planned maintenance programs and best practices.  Darin Rose’s involvement with IFMA began in 1994 when living in Los Angeles and carried over when he moved to Denver in 2000. He came short of his goal to pass his CFM in 1998 but the experience allowed him to benchmark areas to improve, gaining additional industry experiences, and in 2008 achieved his Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) designation.

Adam is Regional Manager of The Floor Care Company, Ltd., the leading specialty floor care maintenance company on the Colorado Front Range. In this role, Adam counsels and manages companies on their carpet maintenance, stone care, ceramic tile and other floor maintenance and installation issues. Adam has been with The Floor Care Company, Ltd. since 2004 and brings 10 years of "cleaning" experience to his clients. Adam has been involved with the membership committee since joining in 2005.

Jason has been with Saunders Construction, Inc. since 2004.  In his time there, he has worn many hats, but is currently working as one of three Business Development Managers.  He is responsible for building relationships with existing and potential clients to better position the company for upcoming projects.  He is focused on being a solution provider for many different market segments including Municipal and Tenant Improvements (Interiors).  Jason is a LEED AP and is active in both Adams and Jefferson County economic development groups.
