IFMA Denver Chapter - Education

CFM Certification

The IFMA Denver Chapter conducts an annual pre-certification workshop to assist professional members in preparing for the IFMA Certification Examination. These workshops are normally conducted during the period from late February through early May.

Each session of two hours are conducted around the nine competencies areas covered on the examination. These are:

• Communications
• Planning & Project Management
• Real Estate
• Quality Assessment & Innovation
• Finance
• Human & Environmental Factors
• Operations & Maintenance
• Facility Function
• Technology

Workshops are taught by chapter members, volunteering their time to improve the professional standing of those interested in taking the courses. This opportunity is open to all chapter members and for those interested in joining IFMA.
