IFMA VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
It’s Girl Scouts of Colorado Cookie Time again! On February 6th, 7th and 8th members of the Denver Chapter of IFMA will be helping the Girl Scouts of Colorado distribute cookie orders at various sites throughout the Denver Metro area. Troop leaders and Girl Scouts come to the distribution sites to pick up orders that they’ll deliver to those lucky people who have ordered cookies.
As a volunteer you could be greeting and checking in the troop leaders as they arrive, counting cases of cookies each troop will receive and checking them off on a master list, or walking the troops through the distribution line. We’re asking that you volunteer for a minimum of four hours.
Distribution locations include Lowe’s in Parker, Summit Ridge Middle School in Littleton, Johnson Storage & Moving Warehouse in Centennial, CO, Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Invesco Field at Mile High in Denver and Louisville Sports Complex in Louisville.
Below is the list of Volunteer Duties, the list of Distribution Locations and Directions to the Locations.
If you’re not the “handyman” type - this volunteer opportunity is perfect for you! The atmosphere is energetic and it’s fun to see how excited the troops are to finally receive all those cookies! You can contact one of the Girl Scouts of Colorado coordinators listed below to volunteer. Please let them know you’re with the Denver Chapter of IFMA.
Girl Scouts of Colorado will be providing snacks and water, however, they will not be providing a meal, so should you need more sustenance please be sure to bring additional snacks and drinks.
