The duties of the Sponsorship Committee include direct solicitation of professional and associate businesses, local affiliates of International Sustaining Members, mail solicitation and/or a variety of other mechanisms to provide financial and in-kind sponsorship for the Chapter. The chair is also responsible for providing a strategic plan, based upon the financial goal adopted by the Board of Directors, to raise the funds and/or resources to continue Chapter operations and programs. This may include projects such as assisting the other committees with solicitation of sponsors for specific items associated with an event, or broad-scale financial sponsorship of the Denver Chapter that is placed in the Chapter's General fund for distribution to the IFMA Foundation or other worthwhile activities as deemed appropriate. A variety of programs benefiting the Chapter membership have been successfully implemented in past years, however, the changing attitudes of corporate support throughout the business community continue to challenge the efforts of this Committee.

The Sponsorship Committee coordinates with the Chapter Vice-President, Chapter Treasurer, Group Facilitator, Corporate Officers, CFO's Newsletter Committee, Update Committee, Programs Committee, Special Events Committee and the Chapter Administrator.
