Each year the Denver Chapter of International Facility Managers’ Association (IFMA) demonstrates its commitment to the community by donating services and expertise to various nonprofit organizations in the Greater Denver Metro area. Over the years, IFMA members have donated time, expertise, space planning, construction, design, furniture, equipment, supplies and finishes. The Community Services Committee keeps this tradition alive by continuing to seek out opportunities in our community to serve.
This includes:
• Providing school backpacks for homeless children at the beginning of the school year
• Collecting toys, clothing and toiletries in December for homeless children
• Helping out the Girl Scouts of America with their cookie distribution
• Spring cleanup at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Colorado
• Performing facility assessments’ for non-profits throughout the Denver Metro area
• Participating in voter registration for the homeless
• Assisting in the State Wide Homeless Conference and coordinating furniture deliveries from IFMA members to nonprofits.
