The Chapter Awards committee is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the chapter’s annual Awards banquet. The committee creates an incentive program to ensure chapter participation in the nomination and voting process. The communication tools used to communicate the process, deadlines, and mailings is usually via the Denver IFMA Newsletter, Update, e-mail, and/or fax. After the ballots are returned, the committee tallies the ballots to determine the winners of each category. The committee located and procured framing for the awards, within the committee's allocated budget. Lastly, the committee must create letters of appreciation for corporate sponsor participation. The committee presents awards to the winners, and the letters of appreciation to corporate sponsors at the Chapter’s annual Holiday Party in December.

  1. Coordinates the annual Chapter Awards.

  • Creates the nominations and ballot forms.

  • Disseminate ballots thru emails and mailings.

  • Solicits corporate sponsors for gift donations and incentive program to support the awards event.

  • Reviews, tallies, and records all nominations results.

  • Ensures that all information is reviewed by the executive board prior to the event.

     

The team provides administrative support to the committee. This may include, but no limited to, being responsible for:

  • Assists committees on the awards being submitted.

  • Assists in the collection of information needed for the award winners.

  • Attend monthly board meeting in the absence of the chairperson.
