The Chapter Awards Committee is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the Chapter’s annual awards banquet. The Committee creates an incentive program to ensure Chapter participation in the nomination and voting process. The communication tools used to communicate the process, deadlines, and mailings are usually via the Denver IFMA Newsletter, Update, e-mail, and/or fax. After the ballots are returned, the Committee tallies the ballots to determine the winners of each category. The Committee locates and procures framing for the awards, within the Committee's allocated budget. Lastly, the Committee must create letters of appreciation for corporate sponsor participation. The Committee presents awards to the winners, and the letters of appreciation to corporate sponsors at the Chapter’s annual holiday party in December.  This Committee:

-Coordinates the annual Chapter Awards.
-Creates the nominations and ballot forms.
-Disseminates ballots thru emails and mailings.
-Solicits corporate sponsors for gift donations and incentive programs to support the awards events.
-Reviews, tallies, and records all nominations results.
-Ensures that all information is reviewed by the executive board prior to the event.

 The team provides administrative support to the committee. This may include, but may not be limited to:

-Assisting committees on the awards being submitted.
-Assisting in the collection of information needed for the award winners.
-Attending the monthly board meeting in the absence of the chairperson.
