The Patricia J. Harris Educational Scholarship Fund

In memory of the late Patricia J. Harris, we continue offer local Educational Scholarship funds available twice a year in her name.  Patricia (Pat) was one of the original founding members who worked to create the Denver IFMA Chapter from the very beginning.  Over the years, she was an outstanding and contributing leadership member with providing outstanding excellence on the Board, created great resourceful and invaluable educational articles written best noting solutions with issues and trends in the field almost every month for our Newsletter.  In addition, her efforts in frequently teaching workshops that were absolutely resourceful to those working within the Facility Profession.  Therefore in Pat's remembrance and great honor, we offer these Educational Scholarships to current Denver IFMA Members; as well as to College/University Students actively enrolled in a major which directly relates to the many complementary operating and resource functions within the Facilities Profession.

For Current Facilities Related Associates and Professional Members of the Denver IFMA Chapter-

This particular Patricia J. Harris Memorial Scholarship category is established for current members of the Denver IFMA Chapter, who are currently pursing and enrolled in an upcoming opportunity to earn an FMP, local workshops to review for CFM designation exam, re-certification assistance, field related local higher education accredited degrees/certifications, field related local comprehensive training programs, related local continuing educational opportunities and/or other field related needs potentially considered on a case by case basis only.  Please note: We cannot award a Scholarship for virtual/on-line programs, most out of state workshop functions or any costs involved with the CFM application process or the CFM exam itself.

For Full-Time College/University Students in a field related program-

This other Patricia J. Harris Memorial Student Scholarship Opportunity is available to any student pursuing a full-time college/university undergraduate or graduate degree in an accredited Facilities related and/or other complementary programs to the profession (e.g. commercial design, architecture, construction, real estate, site operations, material/equipment management, maintenance management and others.)
