The Connections Committee was previously the Emerging Leaders Committee and is designed to stimulate activity among the younger members of The Denver Chapter of IFMA, and to develop the future leaders of IFMA. Our members are involved in planning events, and are active in Chapter leadership. The Committee is also designed to work closely with the Membership Committee to encourage younger members of the profession to join IFMA. We hold fun, socially oriented networking events designed to give new and prospective members an opportunity to get acquainted with IFMA. Our goals include:

-Hosting 4 quarterly social/networking events per year that are open to both current and prospective IFMA members.
- Coordinating with the Membership Committee to develop new ways to attract younger members to the Denver IFMA Chapter.
- Increasing the visibility of IFMA to a younger generation with the goal of driving new membership.
-Developing and managing a mentor program within the Chapter for new members.
-Attempting to reach out to educational institutions with FM programs to find a way to get students involved in IFMA and The Denver Chapter.
-Building a strong core group of emerging professionals to serve on the committee and to take on leadership in other areas of the Chapter.
