IFMA Denver Challenge Coin Design Contest Official Rules


Purpose: To recognize our volunteers and boost member engagement, we invite you to design a five-piece challenge coin set that reflects the heart of our chapter:


  • Create a five-piece challenge coin set. (One design” going over the 5 pieces) Design can be on one side or both sides of the 4" coin.
  • Four Core Values: Excellence, Integrity, Knowledge Sharing, Leadership
  • Center Coin: The Member (the core of our chapter)


Eligibility:   Open to all IFMA Denver members in good standing. Individual or team submissions are allowed.

No design experience required, creativity is welcome!


Submission Requirements


Design Format


  • Hand‑drawn, digital, or graphic mockups are all accepted
  • Must include the Unified concept showing
  • One center coin design representing the member
  • Four outer coin designs representing the core values
  • File types accepted: JPG, PNG, or PDF


Design Guidelines


  • Must reflect IFMA Denver’s mission, values, and spirit
  • Must be original artwork
  • Must be appropriate for minting (simple, bold, symbolic designs work best)


Submission Deadline:


All entries must be submitted by  February 28, 2026


How to Submit


Email your design to Info@IFMAdenver.org with the subject line: “Challenge Coin Design Contest Submission.” Include your name, contact information, and a brief description of your design concept


Judging Criteria


  1. Creativity and originality
  2. Representation of core values
  3. Visual clarity and mint‑ready design
  4. Overall impact and symbolism
  5. How well the five pieces connect into one unified coin


Selection Process


  • Selected by Executive Board members
  • Finalists will be announced at the March Planning Retreat


Prizes


  • Winning design will be produced as the official 2026 Challenge Coin Set
  • Winner(s) will receive the first complete coin set valued at $53 dollars
  • Recognition at a chapter event and on the website
  • Bragging rights for creating a lasting chapter legacy
